June
27, 2008 The
Lee County Board of Supervisors held a special board meeting on Friday, June
27, 2008 at 10:00 A.M., at the North Lee County Office Building in Fort
Madison. Present: George Morgan, Rick Larkin and Bob
Woodruff. All
votes are unanimous unless otherwise indicated. The
Board corrected the June 10, 2008 canvass of the June 3, 2008 Democratic
Primary for Supervisor District 5 due to a recount. The results are as
follows: KE1 Janet Fife-Lafrenz 63 Matt Pflug 24 KE2B Janet Fife-Lafrenz 15 Matt Pflug 26 Write-Ins 1 KE3 Janet Fife-Lafrenz 59 Matt Pflug 33 KE5 Janet Fife-Lafrenz 92 Matt Pflug 91 Write-Ins 1 KE7 Janet Fife-Lafrenz 95 Matt Pflug 60 Write-Ins 1 ABSENTEE Janet Fife-Lafrenz 239 Matt Pflug 321 Write-Ins 2 Moved
by Morgan, seconded by Larkin, to accept the canvass. Motion carried. With no further action,
Chairman Morgan adjourned the meeting at 10:22 A.M. The next meeting
of the Board is scheduled for Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at 9:00 A.M. at the North
