Each board and commission is made up of
citizen volunteers serving staggered terms. Appointments are made to boards and commissions each year by
the Lee County Board of Supervisors.
Consideration to geographical location, diversity and gender are
given. Our goal is to attract
candidates who will work hard and be responsive to Lee County. All applications are kept on file as
public information and will remain active for one (1) year. It is important
that whenever possible boards and commissions reflect the diversity found
in Lee County. The Board believes
it has a duty to attempt geographic diversity together with gender or other
appropriate diversity.
