July 21,
2006 The
Lee County Board of Supervisors met on Friday, July 21, 2006, at 9:00 A.M.,
at the South Lee County Courthouse in Keokuk. Present: George Morgan, Larry Kruse, Rick Larkin and Bob Woodruff Absent: Joe Kowzan All votes unanimous unless otherwise
indicated. Moved by Woodruff, seconded by Larkin,
to go into a closed session pursuant to Iowa Code Section 21.5 (1) c to
discuss imminent litigation. Roll
call: Woodruff – aye, Larkin – aye,
Kruse – aye and Morgan – aye. Motion
carried. Present in the closed session in
addition to the four board members were Lee County Auditor Anne Pedersen,
Board Secretary Lori Grape, Lee County Attorney Mike Short and Attorney Doug
Napier representing Great River Regional Waste Authority. At 9:58 A.M., it was moved by Kruse and
seconded by Larkin, to go out of the closed session. Roll call: Kruse – aye, Larkin – aye, Woodruff – aye and Morgan –
aye. Motion carried. With no other business, Chairman Morgan
adjourned the meeting at 10:00 A.M.
The next meeting of the Board is scheduled for Tuesday, July 25, 2006,
