Citizen Comments: Vern Meierotto and Roger Fullenkamp, West Point, presented the Board with a report on the South Park Expansion Project. They asked the Board to provide a letter of support for the project, to accompany letters of support from other entities, in order to obtain a CAT Grant. The matter will be included on the December 27th meeting agenda. Brad Thompson, Keokuk, showed pictures of 348th St. along River Road that is washing away and very difficult to enter or exit. Chairman Morgan told Thompson to contact Lee County Engineer Dennis Osipowicz. Carol Mardis, Keokuk, wanted an update from the Board on the status of her application for the Economic Development Director position. Supervisor Woodruff explained that the Board has not advertised the position yet and that they are still unsure of the role they will take in the Economic Development Board.
