27, 2006 The Lee County Board of Supervisors met on Wednesday, December 27, 2006, at 10:00 A.M., at the North Lee County Office Building in Fort Madison. Present: Larry Kruse, George Morgan and
Bob Woodruff All votes are unanimous unless otherwise indicated. Moved
by Kruse, seconded by Woodruff, to approve the Tuesday, December 19, 2006
board minutes. Motion carried. The
Board canvassed the Montrose Special City Election. The results are as
follows: City
Council Member to fill a vacancy: Mark
Holland 56 Kevin
Hartman 60 Lawrence
Kramer 28 Dave
Beelman 5 Scattering 8 At 10:04 A.M., Supervisor Larkin entered
the meeting. Moved by Kruse, seconded by Woodruff, to
approve a letter of support for the South Park Expansion Project in West
Point. Motion carried. Moved by Kruse, seconded by Larkin, to
approve changing telephone service providers for the County to Iowa Telecom,
effective January 1, 2007. Motion carried. With
no further business, Chairman Morgan adjourned the meeting at 10:12 A.M. The next meeting of the Board will be
Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at 9:00 A.M., in the Boardroom of the North Lee
