Providers of professional
treatment services meeting one or more of the following criteria, and willing to accept Lee County
performance requirements, may be included in the Lee County Service
Network: 1. Currently licensed, accredited or
certified as a
service provider by the state of Iowa. 2. Currently enrolled as a Medicaid provider,
and/or certified as a member of the
Merit
Behavioral Care of Iowa (MBCI) provider
panel.

Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations
(JCAHO), the Council on Rehabilitation Facilities
(CARF), or other recognized national
accrediting body.
4. Lee County will provide
contracting functions. In
some cases this may be done in conjunction with other counties. Lee County will develop network membership criteria that will assure quality and performance, and assure
proper qualification of provider staff. Non traditional providers will be considered, especially in the areas of
housing and transportation.
For ICF/MR services, provider costs to Lee County shall not
exceed the cost allowed by the Dept. of Human Services rate
ceiling. Lee County reserves
the right to deny funding for services
outside of our area which are significantly higher than comparable
local services.
