Skilled Nursing is available seven days a week, 24 hours a day for eligible clients who are residents of Lee County. Our Home Care program is a Medicare certified program and free evaluations are provided to help gauge your health care needs.

Hospice services are provided to eligible clients in Lee, Van Buren and Des Moines counties in Iowa and Hancock county in Illinois. Our Hospice program is a Medicare certified program and includes in-home care and support for the terminally ill and their families provided and supervised by the interdisciplinary hospice team.
The mission of Hospice is to enhance the ill person’s quality of life by alleviating pain and other symptoms and by providing physical, emotional and spiritual support to patients and their families.

Qualifications
- Must be certified as terminally ill by your physician
- Desire Hospice care
- Focus of care has changed from cure to comfort
- Have a family member or primary care giver to provide for the day-to-day needs of the patient
Hospice Care is provided in:
- Private homes – a hospice client may be living at home or in the home of a friend or family member
- Nursing and Assisted Living Homes
– hospice care is also provided in nursing homes and assisted living facilities in hospice’s service area.

Hospice services are billed to the companies listed above.
Superior Medicare benefit pays for the above services; medications for
pain relief and symptom management; medical supplies and equipment; and short term inpatient care for symptom management and respite.
Additional funding is received from Big River United Way, donations and memorials.
