Lee County, Iowa - Primary Election Information. An election in which voters in a jurisdiction select candidates for a subsequent election (nominating primary).

Primary Election - an election by the members of various political parties for the purpose of placing in nomination candidates for public office, with the exception of the President/Vice President.

Primary Elections are held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in June in each even numbered year.

	The Democratic Party
	The Republican Party

 

Polling locations are as follows:

	City of Fort Madison
	City of Keokuk
	Townships/Small Towns

Polls are open from 7:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M.
