Lee County Conservation’s permanent duck blinds sites will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis starting at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, July 27th. Due to COVID-19, there will be no drawing held this year. The blind locations will be located on the county-owned islands near the river channel. There are 12 blind spots available.
The annual permanent blind rules for the county-owned islands were developed and recommended to the Lee County Conservation Board by the Duck Blind Committee in 2018. Hunters interested in the blinds are encouraged to visit the county's website to review the blind rules and the map of the blind sites. For more information on the blinds, hunters should call the Conservation Center at (319) 463-7673.
